I learnt about them through Andrea Miller from Gallim Dance. Ever since, I’ve been hooked onto their music. Here’s my favourite - Habibi Min Zaman. It’s eclectic for sure, but also at the same time peppy, funny, new, fresh. Very unpredictable - what I like in my music. It’s been a while since I liked a song so much.
Balkan Beat Box is a world music group founded by ex-Gogol Bordello member Ori Kaplan, Tamir Muskat of Firewater and Big Lazy, and Tomer Yosef. As a musical project, Balkan Beat Box often co-operate with a host of other musicians both in the studio as well as on stage.
